Red of Tooth and Claw exhumes the good, bad and ugly sides of America. It's a tale of travels filled with animalistic violence, debauchery, revenge, and ultimately repentance. Turla agrees, “It has those themes of the brutality of the foundation of America...but it's not even intentional.” It may be more inevitable, in fact, as the band hails from Bloomington in Southern Indiana. “We like barbecuing, quarry diving and drinking beer outside,” Turla laughs.
