The quartet from Glasgow, fresh off a stint from SXSW, ended March with a string of US shows in support of their third album, This Gift. Off the back of their previous album, The Repulsion Box, the band started writing their latest effort. Feeling that the results sounded similar to their old records (“We threw away so many songs at first,” Bethel says), the band was sequestered in a farmhouse on the Scottish countryside.
