The Heavy wanted to make a mixtape where one track would be reminiscent of Neil Young and the other of Led Zeppelin,“We didn’t go out of the way to say, ‘These are the influences we want to get in,’ but it’s the way we work,” Swaby says. “We’re kind of schizophrenic.” And it’s true. They switch from the sexy, slinky blues of "Brukpocket's Lament" to the backbeat driven soul of "Coleen". They play ’70s rock or throw in a little acoustic guitar.
