Having recently become involved in various charities and organizations, Jenkins feels like he’s not only giving back to the community but making a difference in young peoples’ lives. He’s head of the African American Future Achievers Scholarship, a Ronald McDonald House sponsored campaign that allows him to discuss the importance of college and scholarship opportunities to schools in the tri-state area, and comedian Steve Harvey chose him to be a mentor in the Disney Dreamer’s Academy, inspiring kids to follow their dreams. “The youth is everything,” Jenkins says.
