With 9th Wonder and Buckshot both coming from different sides of the Mason-Dixon, there's no reason they should blend well. But who needs a reason? They already got it figured out! The Formula is like an ice-cold smoothie of New York positivity and that pre-crunk Southern flavor—and it just might give you a brain freeze. 9th Wonder's production work is easy going and tranquil. Rather than puffing out his chest and pumping up his beats, he graciously compliments and showcases Buckshot's obvious mic skills. The Formula is a chill record in all respects.
