Have Heart - Songs to Scream at the Sun

If you're offended by manifest rage and words of brutal honesty—or just some anvil-heavy riffs—do not listen to this record! If you're a fan of that stuff, Have Heart's latest release will no doubt cut deep—making you hurt inside, and at the same time relieving all your pain.

These are truly “songs to scream at the sun.” In fact, they're songs to scream at anything you see. Have Heart is one of those bands that embodies why I got into hardcore in the first place: I'm always having a bad day. But bad days ain't so bad when you've got the perfect soundtrack.

“Your sisters are starving / Your brothers are begging / Your mothers are mourning / Your fathers are folding / Unseen, unsung / Under the same sun”

It's nothing short of euphoric to hear a (relatively) new band that has that effect—that makes that impact. Twenty one minutes! That's all it takes to feel this album. But I'm warning you, you're gonna want more.
